Old Guys Rule recognizes unsung heroes with a Badge of Honor award. The first recipient was a surgeon from San Clemente, Dr. Gus Gialamas. Traveling Surgeon …...
Just back from Daytona and found the deal. This is awesome for me, being 49 I’m feeling like I’m leaving “No Fear” and moving toward “Old Guys Rule”. But, my dad is over 70 so I brought him back a father’s day gift to let him know that he has always ruled, even though some times I didn’t quite act that way growing up. Part of the OGR mantra was for me too, the day that it “clicked” and I realized what a storehouse he was. And to secure my future, I put an OGR sticker on the back of my Disco, maybe when my guys are beyond their teens, they’ll realize what it’s all about, and that is respect.
Thanks for coming up with OGR!!

John, Thanks so much for your email. I really appreciate your feedback. You’re taking this in exactly the right light. I’m sure your Dad will be stoked to receive the gift from you. What do you get the Guy, who at 70, has everything? You’re doing exactly the right thing and letting him know you have the Ultimate Respect for what he’s taught you over the years. He should always wear the shirt with Pride, as should you. Have a Great Father’s Day and wish your Dad the same from me!
Regards, TOG- The Old Guy
Maybe young guys rule too. I have twin red headed grand sons. They are six, cocky and very bright. The other day I was proudly wearing my oldguysrule T-shirt. One of them read, Old Guys Rule.” The second one commented, “Old Guys Drool.” Both ran off laughing before I could get my hands on them.
