I am also in Texas Mightnight Rider. I am married to an old guy. I am very proud of my Old Guys Rule...high mileage low maintenance T-shirt. I bought it in South Padre when my husband was taking a nap. I disagree with the low maintenance sometimes on the shirt since he just bought a Toyota Tundra 4x4 to pull the custom built motorcycle trailer when we go out of town.  I open a gym in the mornings and sometimes I think I need waders because man does it get deep when all my old guys get together. I don’t need the money from opening the gym but I miss my old guys when I am not here. We just became first time grandparents exactly two months ago today, hence the name of “GiGi”. I look forward to visting with you all!!!

Hello, I just found this site thru a biker magazine.  Looks like fun.  I think I qualify as an “old guy” (just turned 70).  Interests are motorcycles and motorhome camping.

Hi Guys, I just found the site, got my shirt and decal ordered. I saw the shirts all over Phoenix when I was there in March for Spring Training baseball.

I guess I qualify. I’m 56. This year my 2 on 2 basketball team lost in the finals of my company tournament. I’m an assistant coach on the company softball team, and backup my 17 year old son at 1st base and play right field.

I try to stay active and I’m still all about having a good time and hanging with the guys.

Hi All,

Glad to have found this site!  Several months ago, I was showing a girlfriend around Southern California. I went into a shop in Newport Beach and found the Old Guys Rule “T” shirts hangin’ on a rack!  It fits my lifestyle, and I bought two on the spot.  After returning to Seattle, I wanted to find out if there was a website.  It wasn’t till I moved out to Kansas that I bumped into an OG, and he gave me the particualrs… Here I am, glad to be affiliated with you all!

Thanx,
Tred

Having collected 10-12 Old Guys Rule shirts over the last couple of years and lurking here occasionally since the forum opened, I finally decided to register.  I love these shirts, and get compliments, friendly comments, and “Where can I get one?” questions every time I wear one.  Of course, I always tell ‘em to visit http://www.oldguysrule.com!

BTW, I’m 46 (yeah, one of the younger Old Guys), live in Southern California, been married to the same beautiful woman for 26 years, and, though I may not be as “adventurous” as some members, I’ll never let my age keep me from doing the things I want to do.  cool smile

hey Zombie 61 I thought I’d be the baby here but you beat me by a year hehehe...anyway, newbie here and I thought it be cool to share a li’l bit...I’ve been dyeing my hair for 5 years to hide my age until I experienced a turning point couple month ago...I was at the gas station when I saw this guy in his mid-50’s wearing an OGR shirt filling up his classic 64 mustang convertible...then it hit me, what the heck am I ashamed of with my age...it’s COOL to show your vintage...the OGR shirt (as a badge of honor) just did me...one more thing, I’ve been planning for the last 2 years my life long dream to retire at 50 back home and live a simple but active life...the numbers show it’s doable, just a matter of convincing the woman & the kids...but hey, I now have OGR as my inspiration to fight for my dream...LIVE ON!

Well new to the site - got my coffee mug & travel mug today - checked out a store closeby that carries OGR shirts and stuff but now will probably buy online to help support the cause.

Retired last year at 55 - found a part-time job that turned into full time - training people 1/2 (or younger) my age - loving every minite of it!

Funny I have used the screen name “oldguy” in the gaming community for about 6 years now but respectfully used my other here.

Looks like a fun place and thanks for the “goodies” you provide. My wife is holding my checkbook/credit cards/ATM and any cash while I look at the site.

After all gotta take time to get all I want a little at a time - b-day & Xmas are coming around the corner - but then so is Halloween, Thanksgiving and any other holidays !!

Thanks for the forums too - some are real knee slappers !!

Thanks for thinking of us, we really appreciate you stopping by. Funny you should mention Baja, I just got back from a couple of days down there myself. I got home just this afternoon. Had a great trip, I went down with a couple of my Old Guy Buddies on a surf trip.
Please make sure you send us some photos from your trip, we’ll post them on the site. Have a good safe one.
Regards,

Just joined up, bought a couple of the T-shirts just love em. I’m 65 going on 45 that’s the way I feel anyway. Happily married to second wife for the past thirty years. I ride a crazy Italian motorcycle (Moto Guzzi) most of the time. I try to take at least one long distance ride a year with friends who own the same brand. We rode out to the Ozarks last year to go to a Wedding of one of our friends. This year I’m riding over to Nashville to meet up with some friends then ride down to western Louisiana near Shreveport.
