Fifty-two year-old Martin Strel plans on swimming the Amazon. All 3,375 miles of it. The event will take 70 days and will be 930 miles longer than his own world length for a swim. The particular record he's breaking? When he swam China's Yangtze river in 2004, pictured above (from Reuters).
